Current Troop Events:
This weeks Troop Meeting
Thurs., October 29 at 6:30 pm Court of Honor is a Chili Cook-Off.. Please support your scout in cooking chili, there will be a gift card for the chili voted #1. The Scouts are to prepare the Chili. There will be a first prize.Please sign up for Chili cook off and/or any meal Accompaniments by clicking here,
Please come at 5:45 and help set for the celebration.

Current Merit Badge
Personal Fitness Merit Badge: Please see Mr. Baker if you still need to finish parts of the merit badge.
Camping Merit Badge: Make up sessions at 630 before the Troop meeting.

Camping
11/13-15 Colossal Cave Outing, car camp at El Bosquecito. We would like all adults signed up by Thursday, October 29, in order to get an accurate headcount turned into Council. Please volunteer to drive.
SUMMER CAMP $50.00 deposit for Leaders and scouts due by November 19, 2015. Checks Payable to Troop 747 through Caroline or Eric Zuercher.

Advancement
Our advance coordinator, Sheri Schneider, will be back in November.

Fundraising

U of A Concessions: Parents or Boys Scouts 16 and older: Sign Up to Volunteer to work during a U of A home football game. This is a great opportunity to raise money for Boy Scouts camp accts. Sign up Genius

Recharter
BSA membership fees will be due by the Nov. 5th committee meeting for all Scouts and committee members.
Please fill out and turn a registration form/dues at any Troop meeting or print a copy from the link at the top of the newsletter. Turn in completed training forms and BSA registration to Jennifer Cimino.

Where to find your training: Courses are available in the e-Learning section of myscouting.org . A login is required, but anyone may create a user account and view the courses. Registered members of the BSA may provide their member numbers (as part of the user profile) to receive credit.

Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills(IOLS)
Upcoming Dates: November 13-14, 2015- Camp Lawton- Register Now

Service
Service Day: We Need Your Help to Finish Building the Camp Lawton Adirondacks on Saturday, November 14th from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.. Arrive between 7:00 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. so that work teams can be assembled. Work starts at 8:00 a.m.. Please bring tools for the job: drills, hammers, paint roller handles (with rolls), paint brushes, and paint trays. Please wear work gloves and old clothes that can get paint on them. Lunch will be provided by Mama’s Hawaiian BBQ. *This Work Day takes the place of the Double V Work Day originally scheduled for Saturday, November 14th.

If you have creative ideas to help grow these areas, please share them with these new coordinators
